Festival of Digital Culture.
Year—Round Innovation Agency.
FutureEverything is an annual festival of digital culture comprising of premieres of digital art commissions, groundbreaking live performances and an award—winning conference.
It is also an international innovation agency that works year—round to connect artists, researchers and communities to facilitate positive change across culture, commerce and government.
Immersive. Live. Unique.
Our Creative Director Simon oversaw all communications for three editions of the annual FutureEverything Festival, managing both an internal marketing and communications team and partners across design, PR, evaluation and stakeholder communications. The festival attracted thousands of visitors from around the world to its groundbreaking live performances, art programme and ideas conference.
The live programme took over both conventional concert venues and unusual spaces across the city, featuring live A/V performances by internationally-renowned artists in the experimental and electronic music scene, including Ólafur Arnalds, Robert Henke, Darkside and LoneLady, performing brand new work in immersive environments that would never be recreated.
Year—Round Collaboration.
As well as delivery of all communications for the FutureEverything festival, we were responsible for overseeing external and internal communications for FutureEverything’s multiple year—round innovation projects. These multi—year, multi—stakeholder projects included ArtsAPI, a metadata visualisation platform for arts organisations designed to explore physical social networks, EUPORIAS, a series of art-science commissions utilising climate pattern data, and Apps for EU, a Europe—wide incubator for new app developers working with open data.
Our Creative Director Simon worked directly with project stakeholders including the European Commission, UK Cabinet Office, United Nations World Food Programme, The Met Office, Nesta, British Council, Arts Council England and the Government of Singapore.
